I can seeee!

Anthony finally got glasses 2 weeks ago. His teachers told me that I might need to take him to have his eyes checked because he kept tilting his head down to see anything that was in front of him. He did do this at home when watching TV but Lucio does the same thing out of habit so I thought it was too just a habit. So I put it off and tryed to get him to kick that habit. Lo and behold, we finally took him to the optomitrist because one day i asked him to tell me the time on the microwave and he got so close to it and still couldn't see it. My, did i feel horrible. I was one of those parents that thought there was nothing wrong with my child. In denial I guess. Anyways, turns out, he has very bad vision but with wearing his glasses at all times, it could be corrected. There something in his brain that is working too hard to make his eyes focus. The doctor said that it was good that we took him in when we did because if we waited any longer it wouldn't have been able to be corrected. Wearing his glasses will then help his brain focus his eyes and will gets use to it and with time will be corrected! Thank you Jesus!
I felt so bad because the first time he put on his glasses he said,"WOW" because he could see. So Sad but he is now enjoying life more than ever. Praise the Lord. Now I need to take my other boys to have their vision checked. Lord help me.

Adrian's 1st bike ride with his big brothers

We had one of those bike attachments for the little ones to sit in if they are too little to ride along side dad. That was Adrian favorite thing to do. To sit in the little car and have dad take him around the neighborhood. Now he rides like a big boy with his brothers and daddy in the street. It took a little longer because his tiny legs can only peddle so fast but they had so much fun. His brothers were so excited for him they all wanted to take pictures with him. My little boy is not so little anymore. boohoo

Yay! Cereal

Aiden seemed to want more to eat. He wasn't just satisfied with milk he wanted food. I know it might seem too early since he is only 3 months and a week old but thats much older than when i started feeding all my other boys. My other boys started eating rice cereal when they were six weeks. Call me crazy but they loved it. Anyways, January 24 was the first time Aiden tasted his first bowl of cereal. Like any other baby, he started out not knowing what to do with this foreign stuff in his mouth but soon got the hang of it and wanted more. The first time i gave it to him, he slept for six hours straight and i gave it to him at around noon. Come night time he didn't sleep well. So i learned my lesson and on Sunday, i waiting until his 9pm feeding and gave him cereal and half a bottle. Like that saying goes, he slept like a baby. He when to sleep right after that and didn't wake up til 5am for a bottle. Still not use to getting up so much because my other boys slept all night the night they got home from the hospital. Babies are truly a blessing so cherish every moment you have with them while they are babies because time goes by so fast!!

Adrian's Tonka Truck

This was Adrian's first Christmas where he actually knew what was going on. He was so excited to open presents that he didnt care what he got. Whether it was clothes or toys. This one he was especially excited for. His Tio Angel got him a huge Tonka dump truck. He has yet to put it down.
